Newly reconstructed Sakta Flower Market is opened
After almost four months of intensive construction works Sakta Flower Market reconstructed by "Skonto Būve" is revealed. The historic opening event was attended by the Chairmen of Riga City Council Mr. Nils Ushakovs and his deputy Mr. Andris Ameriks, as well as by the Chairman of the „Skonto Būve” Mr. Guntis Ravis.
Sheet Metal Fabrication Factory - the fifth Skonto Plan Ltd factory in Tukums
Opened on September 29 the new Sheet metal fabrication factory - is already the fifth Skonto Plan Ltd factory in Tukums settled in industrial area of the company, and it will be one of the largest and most modern factories in Latvia, which provides the latest and most advanced production facilities in one place. The project was implemented in cooperation with the Latvian Investment and Development Agency by investing three million euros.
In the factory of Skonto Plan Ltd was built a new Bell Tower Cross of Riga’s Nativity of Christ Orthodox Cathedral
In the Skonto Plan Ltd factory under supervision of qualified and experienced masters Bell Tower Cross of Riga’s Nativity of Christ Cathedral is fully re-manufactured and gold plated.
Ltd “Skonto Plan Ltd” concludes a contract with LIAA
On 10th of August 2011 Ltd "Skonto Plan Ltd" has entered into an agreement No.L-JPR-11-0091 with s/a "Investment and Development Agency of Latvia" for the project "The implementation of new metal productions", which is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.

Reconstruction of production plant of Ltd “Skonto Plan Ltd”
In year 2011 plant reconstruction of Ltd "Skonto Plan Ltd” was carried out therefore achieving high standards of energy efficiency and contributing to carbon dioxide emission reductions by using environmentally friendly building materials and products.

Skonto Plan Ltd. complete works of Anker Hotel in Oslo, Norway.
In 2010, Skonto Plan Ltd. completed works of Anker Hotel in Oslo. For this project Skonto Plan provided full design, supply and instalation of glazed aluminium facades. The main contractor for the project was Norwegian company Betonmast AS.

Skonto Plan Ltd. is building a stainless steel production plant in Tukums, Latvia
In 2010, Skonto Plan Ltd has laid the foundation stone for the new state of art stainless steel production plant in Tukums, Latvia.
The company’s chairman Mr. Guntis Ravis noted that the new plant will manufacture products for food and medical industries as well as other products for various industries.
The new plant is scheduled to open in June, 2011, and at least 50 people will be employed at the plant. The company will invest 3m Euros in the new plant and also plans to receive additional financing from the EU Funds for the procurement of state of art equipment.
The new plant will also produce glazed constructions for the National Library and the airport extension project. Company’s representatives stated that the production of glazed facades for the National Library project will be cheaper in Latvia than those imported from other countries.
In 2009, the turnover of Skonto Plan Ltd. was 8,4m Euros, reaching the profit of 980 000 Euros.

Skonto Plan takes part in Interbuild 2009 in Birmingham
In October 2009, Skonto Plan Ltd. took part in the international exhibition and conference for building and construction “Interbuild 2009” in Birmingham, UK. The participation was aimed to promote company’s export activities and was supported by the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia.
