In 2009, Skonto Plan Ltd opened a state of art aluminium construction factory and we can proudly announce that this is the most modern plant of its kind in Latvia and the only one in Eastern Europe that is entirely equipped with Schuco International KG equipment. Two parallel production lines are in operation – one for the production of windows and doors; the other for production of aluminium curtain walling facades. We are proud to offer aluminium systems by Schuco which is the global industry leader.

Computerized and automated modern technologies minimise the human factor, which ensures even greater geometric precision, improves product quality and reduces manufacturing time.

Our employees have more than 10 years experience in manufacturing aluminium constructions and their extensive knowledge allows us to achieve high productivity and avoid errors.

The plant has been certified and meets EU standards and norms. Also the  “Production Process Inspection Certificate” issued by A/S Inspecta affirms that the aluminium facade and window production conforms to the Latvian standards LVS EN 13830:2004 and LVS EN 14351-1:2006 , which grants the right to make products with the CE label.

The plant is equipped with modern machinery that ensures high quality and fast production. The most important machines are:

•    PBX – CNC equipment for working on aluminium and metal profiles, used for producing facades;
•    PD e-Cut 500 with a 500 mm saw slab, used for window and door production;
•    PDG Dual Cut – the newest equipment for aluminium profiles with 600 mm saw slab and motors that allow the circular saw blades to be set at two angles;
•    Four-headed press ensures that all four corners of a window profile are pressed simultaneously with maximum precision at the seams;
•    The door and window processing centre – automatically processes doors and windows on three planes after entering a program;
•    Isomat 5 – ensures precise rolling of two profiles as well as corner rolling for various facade and roof window profiles;
•    Profile coating equipment – ensures a qualitative coating of profiles with a special adhesive film to protect the construction’s paint from possible damage;
•    A glass edging saw with digital measurements ensures rapid and precise measurement and automatic data transmission to the machine tool;
•    Rubber insertion equipment – significantly reduces manual work and speeds up to production process.  

The aforementioned equipment allows the plant to attain maximum production capacity and to manufacture products of excellent quality to meet every customer’s highest requirements.

Based on the intended use and function of the constructions, different profile systems can be selected to meet the requirements of the project and customer.
